Its good temperature resistance and chemical stability are determined by its simple chemical structure. A high melting point (285°C) gives it excellent heat resistance. In addition, its flame retardancy, chemical resistance, and dimensional stability are also excellent, and it has various characteristics as a high-performance fiber.
